A fabulous place to visit, day or night. It has so much history, through every ancient era, it is really valuable to go on a walking tour, either with a guide or with a good travel book/website directions

Situated next to the sea, one can still see the old fortress surrounding the Old Split. Within the walls, visitors can witness the century old histories. It was helpful to have a tour guide explaining the old structures and their original purposes.

Old Split is filled with a variety of beautiful buildings, interesting shops and restaurants. It is fairly small, so it is easy to navigate.
