We were not allowed to make pictures inside. It's a pity. The interior is admirable. Covers (headscarf and skirt) are must-have

Typical orthodox style building but very beautiful both inside and out. Well worth seeing on a visit to Izmail in Ukraine. It's a pleasure to wander round such a peaceful and tranquil place.

This church is located close to other sights and is well worth a visit. You cannot take photos inside. The architecture and beautiful interior are lovely and I'd recommend a visit.

This place is worth a visit. Beautiful interior. And it's centrally located downtown and can be seen from anywhere.

I love ceilings, and the ceiling in this church is very different from the ceilings I've seen in other orthodox churches. There are scarves and wraparound skirts to borrow, for women visitors who don't already have them.

One of my favourite churches in the city and the oldest one! Very rare arkitecture of Ukrainian barocco and a very nice peaceful place! The location is great! Worth visiting!

Located just behind (west) of Kharkiv Historical Museum, there is a small gate that leads to the cathedral garden. It is not as grand as other churches in Ukraine, but this is a gem in more intimate setting. You can take a little break from...More
