Although not 'square' in shape, this is a very impressive plaza. A mixture of open space and greenery with a good few bars/restaurants at the Sumska end. Well worth a good look round.

Freedom square is the main place for any kind of demonstrations, protests and probably concerts. Located in the very central part of the city, metro station University. One of the biggest central square in the Europe. Huge size!

Last time I came was January and quiet open space just a nice walk .but unfortunately they have opened up to traffic and car park not such a good place anymore .a shame
