Seems locals are not too keen to walk in this area as it is never overcrowded despite its charme with some post-soviet elements, one can easily re-imagine the salient and tragic moments in history this harbour has witnessed. Do not miss the statue to the sailor's wife and the sailor's chapel

For those who share Odessa Memories of the past, visiting its Port makes us travel to the 1919´s when jews had to fled the country to survive. THOSE WERE TOUGH DAYS!

The place to go for very good seafood and a good view of the seaport. Restaurant is at the far end of pier so a bit of a walk down the Potemkin steps and across the pier but believe me the seafood more than makes up for it

Night time walk on the pier... nice as always... to our shock it appeared the Hotel Odessa was closed. Cant really add much more to this other than the usual smells and sounds being there.

Huge reconstruction of the place doesn't make it very comfortable to walk down the Potemkin stairs to the Morski vokzal. And at the beginning of the port an ominous sculpture of a child waits for you, representing the golden age. The statue of the sailors wife accompanying by music is very pleasant. It combines sadness and joy. However try to... More

Right at the bottom of the Potemkin Steps, the Port begins. You can visit but there is not more than a few sightseeing boat tours and a old Schooner. Everything else is industrial port

The Odessa Port is very big and you will be impressed by its size. The ships are big and you have the chance to make good pictures.

the port extends along the coast around Odessa, with the most activity in the container section towards the beach areas (eg Lanzheron). Lots of places to view from sevchenko park, great for photos of industry and interesting to watch.

At end of pier found 1-hour boat rides for approx $6 usd per person. Great ride past many beaches. Great views of nemo hotel. Bring a camera.
