This street is one of the best for shopping in Antigua. We particularly like the small pottery shop on the left as you go toward the church at the end. There is also a small shop on the right hand side near the church that has great little hand made bird decorations.

One of the most iconic shots of the whole city... Worth a visit just so you can snap the one shot that anyone who has been to Antigua will recognise...

The famous arch on "Arch Street" is always a pleasant place to people-watch. Colorfully clad vendors are always selling textiles and the latest fad seems to be copper-colored metal leafy-branched wall decorations. The infamous Nim Po't store is a couple of doors down and sells EVERYTHING you'd ever want to buy as a craft item, including seconds of beautiful huipils... More

The arch is lovely. And on a lov lay street with great little coffee shops and hidden markets. I do wish however they would put some lights on it to emphasise it at night. Apart from that it's a lovely spot to walk around.

I can't count the number of times I've visited Guatemala! And whenever possible I head to Antigua and stare at the arch and it's street. It never disappoints.

The Arch is an icon of Antigua. There's nothing particularly outstanding about the arch, but it is a symbol of Antigua. It's not far from the Central Square, and it provides excellent photo opportunities.

Your going to see this and not really realize its a big attraction. Its an arc in the middle of one of the main roads very close to Central Square.

The monumental arch is a great photo opt in Antigua! There are local shops and places to eat or drink along the way. We heard on weekends it much busier. It was very quiet and easy to stand in the middle of the road for a few pictures!
