You have to take transportation to get here. Lots of steps to walk up to and felt the visit was OK but if I missed it that would be no big deal. No one was there to tell you about it.

There are not too many old windmills left in Massachusetts, so this is a must see. You can walk from downtown Nantucket. Also very recommendable: the Oldest House on Sunset Hill.

This is a gem! I went twice, once by myself and once with friends. It is very small but if you are lucky, your guide will be one of the real enthusiasts who can actually work the mill! It is really worth visiting

Absolutely love the old mill. It’s a super cool piece of we’ll preserved history that we are lucky to have here on Nantucket! Tour guides are all really nice. There is nothing quite like seeing it running as well!
