We didn't have long on Nantucket and we wanted to see as much of it as possible whilst learning something about the island. This tour is the perfect fit and you can walk straight onto the bus from the ferry - no reservation required. The native Natucketter lady who gave the tour was very entertaining as well as knowledgable and... More

We took a day trip to Nantucket with my two 13 year old daughters and my in-laws who were visiting from NC. This was an extremely informative tour - the tour guide was great. We went on a Friday in October, so there weren't that many people on the bus, because they have to park on a side street during... More

Our tour guide, Betsy, is an 11th generation native Nantucketer, so she was was able to cram loads of interesting and fun facts into the tour, which includes the cranberry bogs, lighthouses, historic uildings and houses, ancient working grist mill and a drive out to the small communities including Siasconset. Absolutely fascinating and excellent value for money. You will enjoy... More

We spent an afternoon in Nantucket. We weren't sure whether to take a tour. We we got off the ferry the Barrett's bus was there. We asked the driver if we could join. She said yes if we paid cash ($22 pp). The tour took about 1.5 hours and was a nice overview of the island and its history. We... More

The tour van was waiting outside the ferry. As people were climbing onto the tour bus, I ask the driver "how much"? When she said $20 bucks, I thought "why not". It was one of the highlights of our trip. Not only was she very informative, she was also funny and a native born. Her Facebook page also contains stunning... More

We wanted to tour the island, however, because of the tourists the island tours were booked. We walked off the ferry and proceeded to walk several blocks to the Visitor's Center on Federal Street. We inquired about a tour of the island and were told to go across the street to the bus stop for a 2:30 tour. A city... More

We booked through Steamship Authority without knowing that Barrett's was the operator This 1.5-2 hour informative tour on a comfortable tourist bus gave us a lot of info And since we did not have our own transportation... Was the only way to get 'out into the country' With but only a couple of stops for 'photoshoots' What is even more... More

We purchased our ticket for Barrett's Tour of Nantucket at Steamboat sales kiosk before we boarded the fast boat to Nantucket. As soon as we exited the boat the air conditioned bus & driver were waiting for us. The hour & half tour was interesting & informative about the island. We stopped 3 times for pics. Afterwards we ate lunch,... More

This fully guided tour is something that you should not miss. Our driver/guide explained everything that you need to know about Nantucket and gave us places to photo shoot

Great tour of a disappointing island. The tour was fine, guide nice and accommodating. Just disappointed in Nantucket. I'd heard so much about it, but for me that was hype. All the houses looked exactly alike. Shops, restaurants - same old, same old. Won't be back.
