I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about!! We thought this was a superb addition to our trip to Nantucket! The historic information was amazing and awe-inspiring. We got there at 10am; and at 10:30 there was a quick 1/2 hour movie in...More

The Nantucket Whaling Museum is OK. Just OK. Its nothing compared to the huge New Bedford Whaling Museum. If you happen to be in Nantucket then visit, but its not really worth the boat trip in and of itself.

Lots to see and great view of the harbor from the observation deck. Not sure that it was worth $20/per person. During peak season, I think there are other activities available and included for $20 but because it was off season, not really worth it.

My husband and I spent almost 4 hours there on a rainy afternoon . . . perfect place to learn a plethora of facts about the island of Nantucket and the importance of the whaling industry as the island was established.

I don't know; we walked from the pier, which is an easy 10 minutes.
