The cross itself is impressive and the views are great. We drive up to the car park and then took the cable car to the top. I was surprised to see both walkers and mountain bikers coming up the side of the hill.

Going up to the cross you learn so much! such as the history behind this, being a gift from the Russians to the Macedonians! It is so unusual! Visiting this is so strange you can see the entire of Macedonia from the top where the cross stands! it is well worth the visit!!!!

If you can you should definitely go up to this place with the cable car. The view is amazing and there are playgrounds and a restaurant.

A must if you`re visiting Skopje, or if you have guests from abroad and need to show them around :) The site commands a great view of the city, and lots of space for walking around. Best time to visit is during working days (to avoid crowds).

We got on the top by cable car, but you can climb too. The properties on the top are not finished, there is no restaurant, no coffee, only one window with some snacks. There are some benches around so that you can enjoy the beautiful view.

There was a selection of routes to reach the summit. We took the 'red' route also known as the toughest one, but it did allow us to reach the top the quickest. I can see the route being quite treacherous if it'd been rainy, but we went in dry/warm conditions and it took an inexperienced group roughly an hour from... More

You can get to the Millenial Cross in two phases: first by car or by bus you reach a plateau with a park and a restaurant. If you take the bus (they have those lovely doubledeckers in Skopje:), go to the international bus station and find bus nr. 25. There is a bus stop near the memorial house of Mother... More

Millenniun Cross was quite disappointment. When we got on the top by cable car, there was no restaurant, no caffee, only one window with some snacks, and few places with benches. For summer time enough, but not for November. There was enormous coldness (yes, we might not prepare enough), but we expected some warm place with warm drinks or food,... More

The Millennium cross is just amazing, all metal made. The view from the cross is gorgeous on both sides, over the city and the wild! You reach the Millennium cross by walking the forest path at the bottom of the mountain leading to the cable cars directly going to the cross. You can also take the bus if you don't... More
