Make no mistake......this is not Mother Theresa's actual house where she grew up in Skopje. For some reason travelers seem to think it is. Instead, and far more interesting, is a memorial built for her with a small display of her personal items, papers, books, and memos. The upper level is a very nice chapel and worth a few minutes... Small house in the centre of the city which tells you about Mother Teresa and her history. Won't take long to visit but worth it all the same.

You can visit the house museum, and you can assist at a mass, in the chapel that is a part of the small complex that is this memorial house.

This place will not answer all your questions about Mother Theresa´s life. Building gives you rather an idea about her whole life and work and might be a beginning of your studies on Her life. However, it is a place worth to visit.

I not Catholic, but a Christian. What a great place to come and see some facts about the life of a Saint. They have letters and postcards that Mother Theresa actually wrote. What a thrill for a Christian to see Mother Theresa's love for God, expressed in her own handwriting! A must see!
