Visited the Academy on a Friday in February to tour the grounds and learn some of the history of our US Navy. The guided tour they offer is excellent, and was led by a Naval veteran named Charles. He was friendly, dedicated, and really gave a good walking history lesson. Although the tour was scheduled for 1 hour 15 mins,... More

You need to show I.d. at the gate and one of our party had an expired driver's license. He wasn't allowed in. We were there for a funeral so eventually with help from a senior officer he was allowed in. BE PREPARED WITH CURRENT I.D. I started at Gate 8 (I was told to as I was attending a funeral).... More

This is a lovely historic facility dedicated to the training of our nation's future Navy officers. The grounds were lovely and well-kept, and there are many large hardwoods on the academy grounds. The Navy's history is well-represented by monuments and war trophies galore in front of many halls. The chapel's stained glass windows were beautiful, and we saw a few midshipmen... More

The US Naval Academy is a great place to visit. The chapel alone is worth the trip, with its beautiful stained glass windows. Underneath is the crypt, burial place of John Paul Jones, which is solemn and impressive. The academy grounds are lovely, serene and peaceful.

Wonderful way to learn about what naval and marine trainees do to prepare to protect our country. The history is excellent, the grounds are beautiful, the education is priceless.

Very interesting tour and our guide was great. Glad we decided to do this even on a rainy day. We got to see almost everything except inside the chapel, due to a wedding practice. Would recommend you do this at least once if you are in Annapolis

As a retired Naval Officer this site was of particular interest. I served 23 years, but I did not attend the Academy. My new wife and I enjoyed lunch at the Officers' Club, which was world class. We then went to the campus museum, which houses one of, if not the best collection of ship models in the world. A... More

I had the opportunity to visit the USNA over 3 days as part of a conference this past month. Over this period of time, I was fortunate enough to tour the grounds throughout (and even a private tour with professional colleagues). The grandeur, the history and collegial traditions augment the beauty of the architecture and orderly grounds. Visit the museum... More

We walked the grounds and were surprised to witness a wedding party entering the chapel. It was beautiful to walk around and a great place to stretch your legs on the way to the beach
