We have been going to Quiet Waters for years. It's located nearby in Annapolis. Great spot for families, especially with small children. There is a playground, picnic spots, hiking, biking, and even kayaking. In the winter, there is ice skating. In the summer, there is a great day camp for kids between kindergarten to middle school ages, run by Anne... More

There is over 300 acres of park here, you have amazing walks through a forest area, green fields, ice skating, movies, art galleries, outdoor pavilions for rent, an indoor facility that can be rented, children's playground, and you can even paddle. We have been coming here for over a decade and there is always something to do, and it is... More

The landscaping is laid out to make the most of the fall season and the color retained this year is superb! Even though this place is closed Tuesday's walkers enter and enjoy the wooded paths. I was not alone in enjoying it today. Even though amenities were not available, the woods, birds, turtles were happily sharing space with the few... More

I've been visiting Quiet Waters for decades now and still savor the experience. Originally touted as "the jewel of Anne Arundel County ", it always delivers a positive experience. Walking paths, boat rentals, water vistas and frequently art exhibits. Just a lovely way to spend the day.

This is a great place to have a picnic, walk jog or bike through the woods, kayak, toss a ball around or whatever. There are a couple of places for kids to play and there's a dog park as well. In winter there's an ice rink. Pavillions with grills can be rented and there are areas to hold indoor events... More

Nice park to just walk around and relax. Great for people who have dogs as well. Even a great place for a wedding! Some friends of mine got married at the gazebo and it was a beautiful ceremony.

This place is huge. You can walk through fields, walk down to the water, take your dog for a stroll, go fishing... there's just so much to do. Love this place.

This is a great park for dogs. Lots of trails some over a mile long that wind through woods along the north shore of the South River just outside of Annapolis. There is also a public dog park that is fenced and well organized as a place for dogs to congregate safely off leash. It is a large free enclosure.... More

I went here with family and spent time near the at the pool near the visitor's center. The park is very large but we didn't have time to visit all of it. It was a nice and well maintained park and we enjoyed our time here.
