Alway love coming to the park. Has a loop walking path that is under a canopy of trees. A great place to walk and get out of the heat of the summer.

A few miles of paved trails for walking or bikes. Beautiful picnic areas and a few openings on the South River for spectacular views.

You can definitely launch your kayak and I believe even rent them but no place to swim.
Are dogs allowed in all parts of the park (leashed)? Or only in the dog park/beach sections?

All parts can have dogs on a leash. There are two dog parks that a leash is not needed.
