Been here a few times. The service and conversation is always great and the cheeses are a cut above. It's no "accident" that they are one of my must stops when we venture out to Western Maryland.

I was traveling with two family members who had never tried goat cheese before and convinced them to join me for a tasting inside. Needless to say, the service was fantastic. Everyone was quite happy to share a bounty of information with us. And, we left with more than one product (though it was difficult to choose between so many... More

A visit to Firefly Farms is a special experience. The owners are wonderful and make you feel welcome no matter how crowded it is. And, the cheese is fantastic. I visit here often and I find the best time to go is when things are slow at Deep Creek as you, naturally, receive more attention and can leisurely sample the... More

World-class house-made cheeses plus artisanal American & cheeses from other countries. Nice selection of local wines, breads, crackers, jams, etc. Helpful counter-staff. Firefly will even put together a tasting for special occasions - one time I saw a bridal or birthday party and they were having a great time. Located in Accident MD on US 219 between I-68 and Oakland... More

Hidden gem in Accident, Maryland - near Deep Creek. The cheese is fantastic and they have a carefully curated small selection of wine and gourmet foods that pair to create a wonderful end to a day of hiking. I highly recommend the chocolate crackers with the Cream of Pistachio (which is hard to find even in big cities).

After visiting the tent at the Maryland Wine festival and trying the complimentary cheese we decided to purchase. Sitting on my deck with my wife absolutely enjoying the experience. Would recommend everything. Not sure who we spoke to in the tent at the festival but keep up the great work! You've made a client for life!

Stop by to see the Wooden Carved Goats. Spend some time sampling their Goat Cheese as well as other cheeses.

Delicious goat cheese, wine, bread and crackers, etc. are found in this store front of the cheese makers production area. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The town is called "Accident" but stopping here is anything but that! Parking available in the lot behind the store.

My sisters and a couple other family members went here during our vacation to Deep Creek. One of the highlight of the week. The gentleman who lead us in the wine tasting was knowledgeable and was able to explain everything to us. The lady in the shop was also very helpful afterwards when we were picking out a few things... More
