Ofu beach is incredible. There is over a mile of pristine beach, coral reef and fish all to yourself. Snorkeling is great, but you can just walk along the beach and see the coral and the fish. The beach is part of the National Park...More

It is a challenge to get to--but well worth it. Snorkel, swim, sleep under the shade of the palm and banana trees, read while in the huge hammock, look at the huge lava boulders--there are a score of things to do.

I have seen beautiful beaches in Tahiti, Fiji, Thailand, California, Hawaii, Europe, Africa. None compares to Ofu. My son and I walked about 2 miles down a breathtaking white sand beach beside the bluest, clearest ocean I have ever seen. The water is around 83...More

The water is so clear you can even see where the reef descends into the ocean deep. There are 1000s of fish to be seen even from the shore. Bring your own gear to truly enjoy this beach.

I am a total rookie at snorkeling, but this was one of the most phenomenal memories in my life. To the other rookie snorkelers-to-be watch where you're going. I sliced up my melly a smidge on some reef. I'd still highly recommend this to anyone!

While visiting the national park we saw the unbelievable Ofu beach and the even better coral reefs! Stayed at the great Vaoto lodge.

If I never snorkel again I will know that I have experienced one of the best. Beach, water and reef just pristine.

If you are looking for a secluded white sand beach with beautiful scenery, Ofu Beach is it! This is not a tourist destination, which makes it all the more special. The water holds a vast variety of fish and coral.

Some of the biggest brain coral I've seen, good colour, good diversity of fish though not the highest density I've seen. Aquamarine water, white sand that stretches for miles without another human being on it, green jungle that rises sharply above you. Coconuts you can...More
