The roof top bar is wonderful with glorious views. I was here for one visit just prior to New Year's Eve and decided to book a ticket for the Black and White NYE party. The advertisement referred to two phone numbers in the Casino (for the record, 6705-6864, and 6983-4760. I rang the first number and eventually spoke to a lady who could speak English (unfortunately my Spanish fluency leaves much to be desired) who I gave my email address to and she told me that she would send details of how to register by some sort of link (no old fashioned reservations here), and that the email was on its way. I waited and waited, and called back several times and sent two emails (to date, no replies to any of the two emails). There was either no answer at all on both numbers on several subsequent occasions that I called. I eventually got through to one lady who could not speak any English, and so I had the kind lady at the Riande called for me and spoke to her explaining what had happened. I was told that the event had sold out :( I had deliberately decided to stay in Panama for NYE rather than Sao Paulo, so this was doubly annoying for an international traveller. If this is the standard that a major Casino presents to the world, well, it cannot have very high standards of competence or hospitality I must say.…

Wanted to have dinner tonight and it was not as shown in pics. The pool bar on 66th floor was very small open and doesn’t have food. Just Appetizers. The view was nice and that’s bout it.

The casino is kind of small and full of hookers who all sit around the bar area. The rooftop bar on the 66th floor has great views and usually is not very busy. However you cannot use professional cameras there and hang out without buying a drink. Just take pictures with your phone and go!…
