Wow, do not understand how this is rated 5 stars. We had the most terrible experiences of our lives that we called ourselves survivors. Nowhere was it written that the waves would be absolutely terrible. This journey was so bad that I left with a bruised tailbone. The woman behind us was crying and puking. We kept hitting huge waves after huge waves in this tiny dingy. We were scared for our lives. Later we found out that the captains of the boats liked the “adventure” and aimed to go over the largest waves. If you’re a vegetarian don’t bother with this trip at all. You will be fed rice and beans all day long. Also bring plenty of cash cause everyone in the villages are going to ask for donations. They would say it’s a cultural experience, thinking it was part of the trip we would attend and then we kept being asked for donations. Now that I think of it this was probably due to the fact that the Guna people probably don’t get anything substantial from this company. The tour brought us to islands that weren’t that nice. They told us that we had to pay them extra to go to a neighboring island that looked much nicer. This was THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. If we had been made aware of how bad this was going to be we would have spent the extra money for the yachts. Or for the same amount of money just bought a flight into Colombia and saved ourselves 3 days of torture. Not to mention the other boat rides and 8 hour bus ride to Cartagena in Colombia.

Firstly, the Canadian tour guide(girl) was were unappropriated as she was talking at the lunch time about the Czech porn and how Czech girl are willing to give it to everyone , when I was sitting right next to her and she knew I am from Czech. It was rude and other people found it very insane as well. Secondly, another tour guide was 22 year old girl , which I really dont know how she could help us in dangerous situation when we was helping her with her staff to carry around. Also, it was very funny how she was 24/7 swearing , in such amazing place you really dont wanna hear swearing next to you all the time. Lastly, the last night we have had dinner for which we paid 10 dollars and only got tine piece of lasagna which was over priced like hell.

My trip from panama to colombia was amazing! Seriously one of the best things I've done. Delicious food, beautiful islands and really nice people on the trip. Our guides Tom, Val and Kianu were great and ensured we had a successful and relaxing trip. Also loved learning about the Kuna Culture and staying in a Kuna village for the night.

I took the Panama to Colombia trip on Feb 25th and had one of the most memorable group trips ever through all of my travels. Our guides Valentin, Kianu and Tom were loads of fun, very knowledgeable and also able to sort out some problems people had very quickly. Our jeep ride was the only negative experience - our driver was super distracted on his phone, veering all over the road and did not speak a word to the group. The others on our trip all said their jeeps were a much better experience though, so it's just luck of the draw. For the windy season, we had amazing weather with generally very calm seas. The islands were picturesque, snorkelling amazing, but one of the best aspects was the food. Delicious salads and great seafood. It would have been good to get to spend more time in the Kuna villages with the traditional land owners. It turns out you can if you do the trip in reverse from Colombia to Panama, so if that is important to you and you can plan the rest of your trip around it then do it. Panama to Colombia you spend more time on private islands than in the villages. I would 10/10 recommend - some friends of mine recommended it to me as a highlight of their 6 month overseas trips, and I would recommend San Blas Adventures and our guides!
