We know Casinos. Went early (3:00 PM), to learn their details for the evening Poker game. We spoke to the table game room manager. We were told 5:30 and $20.00 tournament buy in. We went back to our hotel to eat and change clothes. Arrives at 5:20, at 5:30 the same game room manager did not know what was happening. He called someone on the phone, and then told us it was 6:30 and $45.00. Now yes we can afford the $45.00. But I think if you go there on a special trip just to gather details and ask questions, you should be told the truth. My wife is very conservative with gambling, and it took some talking to convince her to play. We visited several other casinos that were much better and more professional. I suggest if you like poker, go to the Sun Casino, formerly the Trump Hotel, a $5.00 taxi ride from anywhere in that side of town. Their tournament had 4 full tables, and was run as well as any Vegas tournament. Very good player, all courteous. A much better option. If you still choose to try the Majestic, it is in the Mall, on the third floor, use either the escalator or elevator. The food court is on the fourth floor. The mall has the $1.00 massage chairs.

I was here on a Friday night and I enjoyed. Friendly people, quite some slot games, craps, blackjack. Just a pity that they play American Roulette instead of European Roulette. Upstairs there's music and ambiance. I will sure go back here.

We came here Sunday afternoon with two couples just wanting to play a bit of roulette. Only one table was open which is understandable for that time and there were only a few people playing at that table. Most of them just left when we arrived. I wanted to buy some chips which turned out to be tricky as the dealer basically ignored us. After finally getting chips for all of us from her, we played and right in the first round she removed chips wrongly as non-win from the table that had actually won. I was quick to notice and told her and she put them back and paid. Can happen. Then in the next round, 27 wins, I am happy because I always play 27. She puts the marker on 29 and starts removing the other chips. I tell her that 27 won, not 29. She reacts pissed and calls somebody to help her sort this out because there was no supervisor at the table. They are taking their time to check the videos while she is annoyed that we caused her trouble. She puts my chip back on the 27 and I tell them that I also bet on the line. They tell me I didn’t, I insist I did. They check the video again and confirm I also bid on the line. Everyone acts annoyed, nobody apologizes. When she pays my chips, she mumbles “Disculpe las molestias”, that’s it. Of course we all cash out right away as we don’t want to play here anymore. The behavior of the dealer as well as of the supervisors was incredibly unprofessional and rude and this was for sure our first and only visit.

Originally thought it was in the HARD ROCK. Not the case, its across the street in a mall. Hard Rock gives you player coupons when you check in, Match play mostly. And a free drink. Finding someone to give you that drink is a different story. Quite small, two levels. Completely lifeless dealers. A few new slots but mostly 4-5 year old stuff. Spend the Hard Rock coupons and get out. The mall thats attached gives you better shopping odds. Don't put a bunch of your cash out front in chips. When you redeem you get knocked a 5% tax, even on principal.
