amazing feat of engineering and real experience going from the Atlantic to the Pacific in less than a day!

We got off our cruise ship in Gatun Lake... were driven to Gamboa where we boarded a vessel that held all 382 of us! Our guide told us to go to the top deck (all decks were... read more

We got off our cruise ship in Gatun Lake... were driven to Gamboa where we boarded a vessel that held all 382 of us! Our guide told us to go to the top deck (all decks were covered) and sit on the left hand side for the best view/avoid the afternoon sun and boy was he right and us very... More

Even after reading the many Canal transit tours, I found it challenging to understand the process of, or which tour company to book with. After reading a few reviews, and locating their website I booked directly with Canal Bay Tours. I tried to use their online booking process; but it would not accept my reservation. I ended up contacting and... More

Took the 8 day 7 night tour of the Panama Canal in January of 2017. Well worth the money and the hotels were very nice. Food was good. Organization from arrival at the airport to leaving was very well organized. All you have to do is get up, eat, board the bus and off you go. Tours of the Canal... More

Excellent way to see the Panama Canal from the canal. Small boat (150 passengers) took us through all the locks from Pacific to Atlantic in about 8-9 hours. Food (lots of it) was okay, not great. Be sure to visit the Panama Canal Museum at the Miraflores Locks first. AND read David McCullam's book: Between Two Seas about the history.... More

Take The Channeltour or mira Flores. You Showdown Desinteresse for one or the other. My recomendation is the Channel tour, less pepoels and netter view. Halfday Tour is fine.

Just amazing something over 100 years old working that well. Next to a ship which was higher could really see the difference just a must do!

Really enjoyed going into the canal with a variety of boats. Amazing technology with gravity. The size of the new canal taking huge ships.

We took one of these smaller boats through 3 locks on the Panama Canal during a Caravan tour. It is a great way to see how the locks work and also travel a part of the river leading to the canal . Would recommend if you are traveling to Panama.

If you are in Panama, you have to go through the modern wonder of the Panama Canal. You recall your grade school geography lessons about what an engineering feat this was. You've got to go through the locks to witness it. The sheer size of the locks. The massive amount of water that passes through. The number and size of... More

Amazing experience. Was a little concerned about pickup as others seem to have problem with it. But I called the day before and got an immediate response from Betzy who gave me a window they would arrive. They arrived right on time and the guide was great.
