These great plaza that borders the shore of lake Managua is decorated with LED light metal trees in colours (nicknamed trees of life), symbolizing the sandinissta revolution, amisdst the trees columns rise depicting the colours of the Nicaraguan and Sandinista flags. Nice place to visit by day but greater at evenings.…

Between Puerto Allende and the Parque Acuatico they have named this part of the shore line Malecon (pier). Perhaps because Havana, Cuba has its famous Malecon, Managua also wanted one. Anyway strictly speaking it is not a pier, but a nicely paved sidewalk along the shore with a statue of Simon Bolivar on a horse. Special are the big trees in different colors made of plastic along with festoons in the colors of the Nicaraguan flag. It is a nice sight, especially in the evening when everything is illuminated.…

Was here 1 time at one restaurant. for me it was a disappointment regarding food and price. Nothing to brag about. Probably will not return anytime soon.
