Visited this modern (1960s) Catholic church with the ECTours Free Walking Tour. From the outside it looks more like a bus station or airplane hangar. It’s made of recycled materials (concrete, stone and iron) and looks rather bleak outside. Once you come inside it looks...More

We visited this church during a free walking tour and we were really impressed. Ecspecially, knowing all the details about the history of the church and the intentions of the architect. Really impressive.

I didn't know exactly what to expect. Saw this on a tour and to see the architecture and art inside that really speaks to Christians was amazing. A MUST see. The Sunlight gives you different perspective at different times of day.

This will be the best part of your San Salvador experience! Go during the day (duh) as the light will be more intense the sunnier it is. Don't miss the eye shape on the entrance wall.

Such a lovely church ... also, a bit of a sketchy area so be vigilant of your surroundings. Not to be missed if you’re in San Salvador.

This was my favorite stop in our San Salvador tour. Beautiful stained glass and iron work on the walls / sculptures for the stations of the cross.
