Currently there is a Kinder amusement park in the square and it spoils the photo. St Michaels and St Andrews are better photo ops.

We visited the Cathedral on Orthodox Easter Sunday so parts were closed. The bell tower gave great views of the city and the gardens provided a peaceful break from the Easter celebrations outside.

The interior, that you can not fotograph, is superb. After having visited hundreds of churches in my life, I am surprised I can still find surprising ones!

Once you enter the garden of the cathedral even after paying a small fee you fall in a completely other dimension with no noise and traffic.
