This place is huge and it is indeed a central garden in town. I would recommend it for families with children — there not many amenities and it is firstly of all a garden and only after it the place for some entertainment. There are...More

This botanical park sits in a supposedly haunted area - Bald Hill. The place has been the site of witches, hangings, war tribunals and other happenings. The Hill is riddled with tunnels and the botanical gardens are filled with twisted trees. Hauntingly exquisite!

Cons: Lack of park maps throughout the territory, only at the entrance. Too few bathrooms. But beautiful.

Maybe the recommendations over sold me on this location. I expected a lot more than I saw. I did get some nice nature photos. I left asking myself if I had navigated to the wrong location. It was still a very nice place to relax...More
