Amazingly beautiful frescoes. We visited quite a few churches, monasteries and cathedrals. I myself do not tire of the immense effort invested in religious art. This one is fabulous.

This is one of the oldest churches in Kiev, part of St Sofia. I have been here before many years ago in 1987. This time we came, the monastery was closed for some reason. If open, this is a beautiful and educational place to spend a few hours.
