Bucharest is several steps behind other former soviet satellite capitals when it comes to attracting tourists to what is left of the old town. It desperately needs a major facelift to show that someone cares. I counted four souvenir shops and a couple of hundred...More

This place was a nice break from the busy streets of Bucharest. Plenty of bars to get in out of the heat and just relax

This is a place to stroll around, day or night. It is quite lively at night as there are lots of restaurants/bars. Lots of character here.

Even though the old village is pretty small it's have is uniqueness. Just walking there at day make you feel it and going at night make you feel other emotions

You can clearly see the difference between poor and rich. There is an area with Many restaurants to choose from, very colourful, urban and hipster. If you're into veggie food, you must try 'Aubergine'!

The old town has great ambiance, buzzy atmosphere and reasonably priced! Great difference in the service you get in different places! Give a wide birth to a place called Freddo as the service and food was atrocious!
