Much of old Bucharest was destroyed during the Communist era, but there is a lovely quarter that was left intact, today known as Old Town. Strolling the narrow streets and dining in the restaurants and cafes is a pleasure, and is not to be missed.

A lot of great architecture, but too dirty on the streets. Where are restaurants is cleaner, but few km in another part very dirty. And a lot of construction yards.
