This St. Nicholas Russian Church was built by Russian Ambassador in 1905-1909. Today it's stil under reconstruction (as of June 2017) and unfortunately we weren't able to see its beauty.

This church has been under renovations for a long time. Unfortunately, that did very little to its look and it's still rather dull and totally underwhelming.

Russian Orthodox Church after renovation. It's beautiful. Near where the revolution happened, it had some damage from rounds fired from both sides. The inside is especially gorgeous which says a lot as Orthodox churches normally are beautiful. A must see as it's also historic.

Nice church, although the setting amidst former communistic living blocks is less attractive. Lots to see inside.

We sadly did not get to see the beauty of this church as it was under renovation and surrounded by scaffolding. We could just make out the beautiful domes but the rest of the building was hidden. Whilst we were there a service was happening...More
