Always worth a visit

Always worth a visit even if it is just to watch the cars circumnavigate the traffic circle. Obviously much nicer when it is hot and sunny

Impressive and very much like the one in France, Paris. Roundabout goes around it. Don't think you can easily get to it. Still good photos.

It was like going to Paris but instead you are in Bucharest. In city center, beautiful and majestic.

This arch is very similar to the one in Paris. It is worth a quick look but does not take long to look at.

The smaller cousin of the Parisian one. As in Paris, situated in the middle of a large round about. If you happen to drive or walk by while en route to another item of interest, stop and take a photo. It's not worth while just going there to see it...

This is worth checking out, though I don't think you can go right up to it, or inside it like the one in Paris, so tack this on to a visit to the nearby park and Village Museum. We spent a day in this area and enjoyed it. There are lots of grand and beautiful buildings on the road from... More

It is nice enough the thing is you just drive by it. I was told it is open one day a year so all you really see is the Arch as you drive by. It is nice from what I saw but it would be better if it were actually accessible.

When you arrive from the airport to downtown, you will probably drive by the arch. It is striking and surprisingly similar to the one in Paris. It seems most of the writing and stories on the arch were removed during the communist era so it is simpler than the one in Paris. When I went to the Village Museum, I... More

Coming from the airport you might be surprised to find sitting plonk in the middle of Sos. Kiseleff the Arcul de Trimf. You would think you were in Paris but this is Bucharest and our monument to the many conflicts to make this country what it is, stands proudly against the weather and time. The monument has been cleaned. There is... More
