Good overall display and history regarding George Enescu. The world has yet to appreciate this composert who the Romanian's rightly love. Also, the festival was going on when I was there and it was great. Free concerts for all to experience in the Plaza.

As September is the month to celebrate George Enescu and the wonderful works he created and the outstanding musician that he was, it is only fitting that they make a museum to him. "Georgeous"

Originally Cantacuzino Palace, became George Enescu house to be declared later its museum. Interesting items about himself, his private life and its legacy. Try to attend a camera concert there and see the AULA space , excellent.

The entire solo experience (no guided tour) lasted 35mn. The presentation of all his articles and artifacts was nicely laid out in 3 -4 separate rooms. I was hoping to get to see the rest of the mansion and rooms but these are closed off....More

An outstandingly beautiful building, it's certainly a must-see from the outside. The inside is filled with interesting artifacts from the life of Romania's most famous composer and musician. George Enescu was taught by Menihun and had an illustrious career, which is documented really well in...More

Very beautiful palace easy to reach in the center of Bucharest; plenty decorations of the end of 19th centuries and mementos on Geoge Enescu and his love Maruca. The museum should rapidly be renovated!

Overall the place is kind of forgotten and lacks maintenance. Personally I was not impressed, but if you are a music lover who knows what will happen. I recommend it if is raining or you really can't find something else to do.
