In october, we drove in Croatia highway nr8 passing for a long distance along the Croatian coast. It turned out to be one of my nicest car trips in recent years. From Dubrovnik to Split you get a sense of splendour after every new bend in the road, a new view of azure-turqoise sea, impressive mountains, green islands opposite of... More

We did the drive in Mid September staying 3 days in Split and 3 in Dubrovnic. New express road most of the way Fabulous trip, great weather, wonderful people, great sights. English widely spoken. We used AirB&B for apartments and were pleased with the quality of the hospitality. Don't go for the food or wine. This is not the gastronomic... More

A very good way to see Croatia and its Islands. The problem with our boat is a sickness bug which seems to be working its way through our fellow passengers. My wife has been confined to our cabin for the past 48 hours and has not been well at all. Situation not helped post captains dinner last night with a... More

We booked a 7 night Katarina Deluxe Cruise after visiting Krka Ntl. Park and Plitvice. It was a perfect compliment to our time in Croatia. We sailed on the Futura which was absolutely perfect and made for a relaxing and memorable holiday. Diana our Tour Dir. from Katarina was exceptional. Diana was very knowledgable, friendly, fun, and also had a... More

We were on a 7 day cruise from Gruz, Dubrovnik to Split. We stopped at 2 islands per day (including Mljet, Korcula, Brac, Hvar, Omis, to name but a few), with at least one swim stop every day in some deserted bay along the way. Every night the boat was docked overnight so you had the opportunity to spend the... More

My husband and I travel frequently and we have visited over sixty countries . We just returned from a trip with Smartours to Croatia and Slovenia. This visit was great because of the countries we saw but especially because of our tour director and guide, Mr.Elvis Kadiric. He was an excellent leader who knew the sites like the back of... More

We have just concluded a one week cruise of the Adriatic/ Dalmatian Coast. The boat ,the Prestige, is only 18 mth old so beds comfy and rooms very clean. The staff were excellent. Only worrying hiccup was staff misplacing passports of two passengers. Pretty unprofessional , and suggests that the Captain does not check off passengers with passports at check... More

A perfect way to see Croaita - but the cabin we had was terrible and spoilt the overall experience. The un suite bathroom was disgusting! The walls of the cabins are paper thin - no imagination needed - and if you are able to get sleep it is a bonus! The crew were very good, especially Tom who, worked hard to... More

Brilliant! Only shortfall for 5 stars was the unavoidable proximity of "Party Boats" with their incessant after-dark Doofus "music" pounding sleep away from all other boats in any harbour. Ear plugs no defence! Apart from that, the facilities were great, all crew members friendly, professional, competent, and the route stunning. Overnight stops were well chosen, swimming episodes every day in... More
