The Ivan Vazov National Theater and its park is a nice place to visit. Besides its beauty and uplight colors in the evening it is a place to relax for the young of Sofia. Loads of activity on the stairs of the theater all evening.

The theatre is a splendid building which I confess I have been inside. The front has a lovely park with a fountain area and plenty of bar come cafés, to site and chill.

This is awesome place. It's really nice theater, although it's a bit tight on the balcony seats, but it is still really nice. There very pleasant park near the theater which is also great to spend time with friends or just to enjoy the good weather.

Beautiful building with immense importance for culture of the city. Great park is just opposite of the main entrance. No tour is avaliable though, which is a shame since I'm wondering whether the interior is as beautiful as the exterior.

this is the oldest theatre in Bulgaria. the building is very well maintained and it's in operation. there is small park in the front of the theater which is great for evening walks.

This is a lovely building, located within a beautiful garden. While we were able to appreciate the building's façade, it was impossible to enter it, as there were no shows available during our visit, nor guided tours inside. Too bad, as I assume we could've enjoyed them a lot.

Someone had a sense of humor when they renovated this building last bombing..one of the decorations is Sophia answer to Brussels little boy.. It is also a hub for much recently regenerated live theatre in Sophia

Ivan Vazov theater is one of the best and well maintained buildings, having some nice and old administrative and office related constructions around it, makes this quadrangle very attractive to even Sofia citizens and tourists. You can get a well prepared coffee from Costa and just have a walk. You can also visit the Finance ministry, the national bank, and... More
