Located on the 'square of tolerance' this is one of only two working mosques in Sofia. I removed my shoes and walked inside. It's well decorated inside and I felt welcomed by the men within.

I am really not an expert in mosques, so I can't really compare, but I found this one very beautiful and peaceful. It is sober, but the colours are really beautiful. Don't forget to have a scarf to cover your head.
