There’s just small piece of a tunnel, which is open for visit now, information stands only in Bosnian, with no translation, a few more rooms with military staff and youtube videos - and that’s it. I expected more. At least stands could be translated. Entrance...More

Great thing to see. Explain very lively situation during war time. You can really feel what happened entering tunnel. Good to see so it never happens again.

The war was so recent and most of us in the group could recall what we were doing during those years. Visiting the tunnel brought the realisation of how different lives can be in different parts of the world and for us not to take...More

You can feel how bad the war is. People made a tunnel to survive. You can come inside the tunnel for 10-15 m and you felt the drama people lived during that nonsense war.

This small museum at the outskirts of Sarajevo sheds light on the tragic siege of Sarajevo and how people survived. It is a sad yet hopeful and thought provoking place.

I visited the Tunnel as part of a tour. I was lucky to have a tour guide from Sarajevo who worked for the red cross during the War of Independence. He spoke with passion and despair about how the Serbs surrendered the city of Sarajevo...More

We had a tall 2.05m guide to explain the 4 year war to us. Impactful, painful, helplessness, the ineffective UN, threw a complex emotion to visitor like me. Highly recommended to all visitors to Bosnia.

I always bring visitors to the tunnel first. To understand the city one needs to know where it has been. Come out of respect for the endurance and resilience of the people who survived the siege. Leave with respect for the ones who did not.
