If you are visiting Sarajevo you have to spend time here. It is a concrete reminder of the war. Do take a guide though as there are not that many signs explaing things and you will miss a lot. I booked a trip through funky...More

To never forget - that should be the goal of history and places like this. It was humbling to see the small tunnel that people used to escape the siege - men, women, children. All to get away from the war zone of Sarajevo. You...More

This was one of the places which gave me a good insight into how they got hope and could live under a siege for so long time. But also so sad a story it tells.

I like being able to walk through tunnel and the movie. It was authentic and our guide did a good job. They could do a little more with it and they definitely need a better bathroom! Pit toilets that smell are not conducive to tourism!

Took a couple friends there and it was fairly interesting. Kind of hidden, so have a GPS. Not too much of the original tunnel left. Good film showing the siege of Sarajevo. If you have time, would recommend it.

Bittersweet memories for my husband who as a doctor specialising in head/brain injuries was last in Sarajevo around 20 years ago just as the war was ending. He was aware that the tunnel existed but had never seen it before. An amazing construction and the...More

Based on good recommendations on TripAdvisor, we decided to take a trip to the tunnel war museum. We took tram 3 from the old town to the endstop (30 minutes), and then walked for 30 minutes to the museum. Not the easiest way to get...More

If you're staying in the old town of Sarajevo it will take around an hour and a half to get out here by means of tram 3 to the Ilidza terminus and then bus 32 (platform 4) to the end of that line (check with...More

Depends, walking through the tunnel, takes a few minutes, but other activities can take some more time. The videos, conversation with the locals e.g. we met one of the builders of the tunnel. So it depends how much you are... More
