I did both the Mostar day tour and the Sarajevo Under Siege tours. The Mostar day tour was magnificent as our tour guide Hans had extensive historical knowledge and our driver Damir has first hand knowledge of being a soldier in the Bosnian war. It was filled with beautiful sites, excellent information and great discussion. The combination of these two... More

Now back in Rome I'd like to tell you all that the siege tour that Skender's father did was just perfect. Not only for the material places visited but mainly for the passion he put narrating his personal painful experiences during the War. Also the visit to Mostar was very pleasent...Bosnia, a country to visit for sure!

We had a jam packed 4 hours yesterday seeing the tunnel and going up the mountain for views as well as the bob sled ride. Whilst driving we got pertinent information regarding the war and how things are in Bosnia now. In fact our driver, who is 41, was in the war and had many stories to tell. But this... More

We were very interested in seeing the abandoned bobsled track while in Sarajevo and saw that Sarajevo Funky Tours had that as part of its Total Siege Tour itinerary. We were able to book last minute the night before and thankfully there were two spots available. The tour was amazing and something I'd include on my "must-do" list while in... More

We enjoyed our full day tour to Mostar. We also visited Konjic, Jablanica, Pocitelj, Blagaj and Karvica waterfalls. We could see many beautiful places of Bosnia in one day as Skender has a well-organized company and team. Our driver, Damir was very friendly and happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend Funky Tours to anyone visiting Sarajevo.

We enjoyed our "Total Siege" tour with Skender in Sarajevo last week. He was very informative and gave us a lot of insight into present day Bosnia as well as Sarajevo during the war. Walking down the bobsled track and stopping at overlooks in the mountains that provided beautiful views of Sarajevo were definitely highlights for us. Though the price... More

Had a tour with Salem who's son runs this tour and he drove us from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo and it was the best tour I could have booked. Salem was full of stories and I couldn't stop asking him questions. We also had the walking tour the next day and Skander was kind enough to arrange something in the morning... More

We used Sarajevo Funky Tours 3 times whilst we were in Sarajevo, and each time was perfect. We were picked up from the airport and that transfer in itself was like a tour, with the driver pointing out sights as we drove along. Then we did a walking tour through the old town which was great, it wasn't just the... More

We did the siege tour of Sarajevo on April 2017. Our guide shared with us deeply personal first-hand experiences about his time during the war. Interesting and also very tragic. Our tour started with some background information about the war. We were then taken to see the tunnel, mountains behind the city (the bobsled track) and some other key locations... More

We had an 4 hour tour including a drive thru the city, to the war-tunnel and up in the hills above the city. Our guide had her own experience of the Sarajevo siege and could tell us a personal story that effected us all. This is a unique possibility to learn about the awful consequences of this war, not very... More
