Obviously there is a lot of history behind this bridge. Sadly it now stands neglected. Groups of man gathered on it which put us off photographing but in all honesty I wouldn't say it's worth the trip to see anyway. A pity

“A really old bridge” I was told. Okay, so let’s have a look. Literally a stone bridge. It’s nice, I wouldn’t go out of my way to see it. In the dark, a little uneven footing, could actually be dangerous with today’s health and safety

We did walk the broken pavement littered with garbage to see the bridge; there is really nothing to see today. Read about the history, save yourself the walk :)

Much of Tirana's sights are located close to the city center, much like this bridge. Not much of a bridge. Visit as you walk about. Not worth making any special effort to visit.

A not overly old bridge set amongst modern buildings. Only worth visiting as part of walking tour and not worth special trip.

... there really isn't much to this. It's a single span over what was once a small stream. It is one of the (precious) few remnants of the town's Ottoman past, but it's barely worth putting on the tourist map.

While walking around the city of Tirana we run into the Tanner´s Bridge. We took just a few step´s and we were over the bridge just like people has done already age´s. :-)

This little bridge is all the remains of Tirana's Ottoman heritage. It's worth visiting for a glimpse of past times
