Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice little bridge on the outskirts of the City. Good for a photo, and you can walk over it. Shows the old and new coming together.

18th-century Ottoman period stone footbridge. The road was the route by which livestock and produce entered the city. The bridge crossed the Lanë stream near the area where butcher shops and leather workers were located. The bridge fell into disrepair when the Lanë was diverted in the 1930s. In the 1990s, the bridge was restored for use by pedestrians. Worth a look if you're in the area.

Cute little stone pedestrian bridge which is still in use today. 8m long, 3.5m high & 2.5m wide this bridge dates back to the 18th century. Looks totally out of place with all the modern architecture and roads that have been built around it, certainly worth a look and a walk over if you passing by.

Maybe just a quick photo opportunity and move on, one of the few remaining bridges from the ottoman days, so for that reason worth a look and photo.

Thanks certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to see bridge, time has moved on from it.

This is clearly one of the historical remnants from the Ottoman Empire that Albanians preserved as part of their journey. I happened to bump into this stone bridge while exploring. However, I don't see it as an attraction unless you are into see prehistoric bridges.

Built during Ottoman rule (ending in 1912) showing Tirana was part of a developed infrastructure of roads and bridges connecting southeastern Europe. Farmers used to take their cattle to town crossing here, after which it would be slaughtered and meat and hides would be prepared and sold. Testament to history of which so little can still be seen in Tirana.

This is a small bump-backed bridge which was built in the 18th Century. To be honest, there isn’t much to see and you probably won’t need more than ten minutes to have a quick look and snap a few photos. It’s just across the road from the Grand Mosque so you don’t have to go out of your way to visit it. This, plus the fact that there are very few remains of the Ottoman era in Tirana, make it worth a brief visit.

This is not the most exciting thing in Tirana but it is close to the castle/ Kalaja and Toptani . These bridges once dominated the country !

This is on the beaten track, but well worth seeking it out - a small remain of the past of a city that has done its best to erase its history. Then have a coffee or drink in the Castle

Located on a very bust road by the River in Tirana. Cute little bridge that takes few second to cross over and it has like cobbles on the top.
