Visited the Mt Kumgang 30 August. This park is stunningly beautiful with its mountain, forests, river and spectacular waterfall. This is a must for travellers to North Korea.

We have the privilege of going to Kumgang San in Oct 2007, must have been a period of friendliness between the two Korea's. I believe it is currently inaccessible to outsiders. We were part of a 29 bus convoy. The interesting part was that I was the only westerner in the group. Thank goodness my wife(A South Korean) could translate... More
