The sand is an ugly black/brown and the water is worse. Aesthetically this is one of the worse beaches I've seen in my life.

i'M assuming that this review is for the Denarau Marina as I'm unaware of any Denarau Beach in Nadi. The Marina is very upscale with an outstanding variety of restaurants. We ate here several times while departing and returning various boat tour trips to beaches and other islands. This is also a great place to buy souvenirs. If you go... More

Denarau really doesn't have a beach (as we know it in Australia) but it is right on the water with some sandy patches along the hotel strip with lots of eating spots - tables & chairs etc. So, you do get the "beach feel". There is a "netted off" area and we actually saw 1 person swimming there. Best to... More

We were on a cruise which stopped here. Mainly for tourist shopping or eating but it's not that far from here into Nadi. We caught the local bus for $1 each which took us into Nadi via the resorts so we got to see lots of the local area. Bus is an experience in itself.

Too Expensive. Its a matter for the comp[any but when you go into the store the handicrafts are excellent but to most eyes they are far too expensive. The company needs to consider a more realistic price approach to attract customers and sell many more products. These goods are machine made so it should be possible to have a more realistic price and... The beach itself is nothing special...not the beautiful clear blue water one typically expects in a tropical paradise. This is likely because Denarau is a man made island. However Denarau itself is fabulous because of the resorts and the layout and the activities on offer. Every resort has amazing huge swimming pools so there is little need to swim in... More

Staying at the Hilton the walk is a little further along to the point for a great sunset view. The beach walk along there is beautiful anyway. Daily, any seaweed is picked up, so is very clean to the eye, and very easy on the feet. Covering ap. 4-5 of the major hotels, its nice to wander through the garden... More

Lovely sun sets. Although the sand is dark, it is a beautiful place to swim, be and see. There are lots of activities available at hand. Motorized sports, paragliding etc
