This is one of the ultimate places to travel too and see this magical site. I would highly recommend having a guide take you around. It helps understand the purpose of this place. Remember, there are still things unknown about this magical place in the clouds.

Machu Picchu is one of the most amazing places I have ever been to. The Temple of the Sun is one of the highlights of any visits there. The views are just jaw dropping, picture postcard stuff. To be honest, no words could ever do it justice, it really is a place that has to be seen to be believed.... More

These tribes before the Incas and the Incas were very intelligent and formidable people, accomplishing what they did with no such thing as the wheel. Imagine our world without the wheel being invented!! They could tell when it was time to plant certain crops and everything else by the light coming thru the window at different angles and it was... The blocks on this awesome building were lined up to other mountains. A certain time of year the sun goes threw the mountain into the window.

We went on a guided tour to the Temple of the Sun and it was a smaller site that still has so much to offer. Definetly recommend having a guide so you can get as much info as possible about the different formations and stories behind the site. We were lucky as the clouds cleared and we could see the iconic view of Machu Picchu. Get there early and have the place to yourselves. Obviously fabulous views of this awesome place.
