It was very nice and the employees were very kind but it's not so much a museum as much as a chocolate shop.

A nicely done little museum. There are several museums across central Lima and Peru, including Cusco too. The cooking classes are great fun, there is one for kids too. The product, such as chocolate powder and bars, jams, and tea all made from cocoa, are all organic. You can buy them there too.

My wife and I did the 2 hour workshop and we had a blast. We were able to understand more about chocolate, where it comes from, how it's harvested and finally how it is made. It was a nice mix of experience and learning definitely fun and worth a few hours of your time spent in Lima.

We added the Choco Museo to our vacation to rest after hiking around Machu Picchu and other ruins. Kids ages 17, 16, and 8 all had a great time with the hands-on chocolate production process. The "museum tour" is mercifully brief, and the group leaders do a great job pacing the chocolate making activities. After a week climbing among the... More

Went here as part of the Foodies Peru tour. This place does not disappoint! The chocolate tasting is great and also the information about how they make the chocolate was very interesting. We had an ice cream sundae and a brownie and they were both delicious. Try their flavored pisco, its delicious!

I love popping in to Choco Museo. I have been to Lima many times and always stop in to try the new flavors, buy some gifts, and watch the chocolatiers at work. They are happy to answer any questions and very knowledgable. You can also try many different combinations and flavors you would never get to try in the United... More

We did the chocolate making course on a rainy afternoon and had a lot of fun. Besides making 3 drinks ánd your own chocolates, you learn everything from bean to bar! Great, enthusiastic guide. If you have time, definitely do it!

Don´t get caught in the name, a nice and cozy place to enjoy a warm cup of chocolate, sweet, bitter, you just ask for it. Nicely located in a quiet neighborhood, will give you an excellent excuse to stop and recharge while you walk around Miraflores

We have decided to make artesanal preparing of chocolate. With comparison to other places of this company is this place in Lima the biggest but with smaller choises that on other places. The best was the dedication of Susan who made our day great. She is very nice person. We enjoyed it with her.

Just went to buy gifts for friends and family, not a lot of people, there were only 2 people doing a class along with 3-4 employees, good spot to get some gifts as I found souvenir shopping quite difficult, some items a bit pricey. There is a larger store on the main road next to the subway across from the... More
