Stepping out of Lima is not easy. This is the best weekend trip imo. You have to be quite fit and bring camping equipment, but the views are stunning and the skies full of stars at night

It took us about 5 hours in total to arrive to from the centre of Lima. First we took a private taxi from Plaza Bolognesi (6 soles) to the small town Chosica. From there it was another bus to San Pedro de Casta (12 soles)....More

Marcahuasi is a very nice place to visit! It is high up on a mountain and is not easy to get to. From San Pedro it's a very steep climb of 5 km, going from 3350m to 4000m. You can take a taxi bus close...More

Actualay coudl do this in 1 day if you have a private car. But it is against the tide to try to do it in one day. A great old place to appreciate stone scutires and ancient rock.

If you like walking for hours and enjoy unusual places away from crowds this is definitely worth it, don't expect more than amazing rock formations and breathtaking views.

Amazing, really extrenous trail, all up hill! you will feel the increase altitud! Start early in the morning and you will be back at the end of the day. You can camp in the top of the mountaing and get down the next day too.

Hola!!! Los carros no llegan al mismo anfiteatro. Hay dos opciones dejarlo en el pueblo o subir en auto pero lo dejas a un kilómetro, luego la subida es a pie .
