A modern street downtown with access to musems, restaurants, shops and the hustle and bustle of local and tourists. There are nice benches from which to sit and people watch and to gaze at the beautiful gardens and church of Santo Domingo.

This is the main avenue for the city of Cusco. It has plenty of shops and restaurants. Just keep in mind that it is at an incline. I found it easier to catch a cab at the beginning of the avenue (top of hill) and walk DOWN the avenue.

This busy thoroughfare has some interesting buildings on either side of it. We walked down to the local craft market area checking out lots of the shops on the way.

Sol is a beautiful walk, with many shops and attractions. I suggest walking to Qorikancha to enjoy the beautiful green garden and mesmerizing architecture. Once you're done, walk across the street and try some Quinoa Ice Cream! Also on Sol: a beautiful illustrative mural of Peruvian history, numerous bakeries and restaurants, the Serpost post office, the Maximo Nivel language school,... More

Good place to walk to get used to altitude! Go all of the way to the bottom of hill to visit artisan market, then walk all of the way back to Plaza.

If you're looking for an atm, change, bank, or the post office, this avenue has it all. Just on the corner of the main square. The Sun Temple - 'Coricancha' and the Artesanal market are also there.

This is a street, like most other streets it has a road and a pavement. Useful for walking down and also driving down, or up, whichever you choose, they're both acceptable.
