You can get lost in this small place, if You dont pay attention, got a lot of small shops and beautiful old houses, the market is the best place to eat with the locals, Huge amounts of rice are part of the main dish, before you get done with the soup, deserve and the drink Muña.

A nice small square with a church, good restaurant and some nice local gift and souvenire shops nearby. There is also a market and you can see the locals in there traditional clothing. Well worth a visit, especially if your hotel is nearby as the restaurant is worth a visit for the evening meal

Great little neighborhood tucked in the most unsuspecting area. Upscale (for Cusco) shops and cafes. Lot's of stairs so you get you're workout in, too.

The walk up the hill shows what locals live with and how it is no "big deal" to them. The local restaurants and sights are well worth the walk, at first I questioned it, however, once the walk was behind me it was very well worth it. Past the stone with the 12 angles, in fact the entire Inca wall... More

We purchased some of our greatest gifts for ourselves and others at plaza San Blas and the surrounding stores. It's the hip/chic bohemian part of town, with outstanding shops and restaurants on all sides. A definite must-see and is included on most major city walking tours. Some of the best jewelry at reasonable prices in the whole town, and some... More

The San Blas area has many historical things to see and great restaurants. It is a steep climb from the Plaza area of Cusco, but worth it with the views. If you have time, take the walk to their neighborhood to see a unique culture.
