A very good experience

This trip was my first trip and made the whole Machu Picchu visit a great experience. The train was comfortable, clean and very airy. I loved the sky views.

Initially when we boarded the Vistadome it felt very special. We felt so excited. The table was laid with silverwear and table mat so we assumed we would be getting a mea and maybe a glass of wine or something; you get a square of cold pizza ... They do offer a tea, coffee ; juice or water free but... More

We went to Machu Picchu via Vistadome, of course this was booked thru Andes Adventure. Thanks to Edward as he was able to arrange everything. By the way, we stayed in Novotel, Cusco and Novotel referred me to Edward of Andes Adventure. Everythings is perfect! If you want a hassle free you may contact Edward of Andes Adventure as he... Fantastic journey, the train is immaculate and the staff are exceptional, on both our outward and return journey. Returning the passengers were mostly exhausted from climbing Macchu Picchu but the staff put on a lovely fashion show which had everyone cheering and clapping and just added a lovely touch to a perfect journey.

A memorable way to experience one of the world's heritage sites.Would you please ask the people in charge of Machu Picchu to provide more than one "banos" other than the one outside of the entrance gates......perhaps at the other end of the archeological site...one toilet for 3000 tourists a day is a bit much especially when we paid $158.00 US... We travelled on the Vista dome to Agua Calantie (sic) a few weeks ago. They have the neatest way of boarding I have ever seen. Very efficient. The staff are dressed like flight attendants, very smart and well turned out. Upon arriving at your seat we found a hand woven table cover and knives and forks. After starting on our... More

We travelled from Ollantaytambo (sacred valley) to Machu Picchu and back. Small seats and cramped space. Basically you are seated on a table of 4 and your knees are touching the person opposite you. Most of the time people are travelling in twos and so do not know the two others they are sharing the table with which is both... More

My Family and I caught the 6:50AM train just outside Urubamba ant the Belmond there. The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. After a grueling day on Machu Picchu (we climbed from the base) it was nice to relax in comfort on the way home. It's a little pricey but as you've no other options not too hard to swallow.

The vista-dome train was clean well decorated served a nice snack and on the way back an actual meal. They have entertainment, but most of all it is such a gorgeous Scenic trip

We travelled on the Vistadome in September 2016 to Machu Picchu and then back again to Poroy... and the views are breathtaking. The atmosphere on the train is something else (certainly not the 6.24 to Waterloo on a Monday morning) - there is a such a wonderful sense of anticipation on the way to MP and a sense of wonderment...
