We are the Only Inca Trail Tour Operator that has built a house for the Porters; Porters come to do this job from very far away communities up in the andes and had NO place to stay in in between treks; But NOW, they do have one and is called the LLama Path Porters' house - any one is welcome to visit this place at anytime-!

Just recently completed the 4D/3N Inca Trek with Llama Pass ( October 21st ). This company is top notch to deal with and the whole trip went very smoothly from start to finish. The guides J.J. and Ivan were great guides- very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information on the history of the Inca Trail. We had such a... More

Llama Path was so helpful with everything. Alex, our guide was so knowledgable and he was so much fun to experience Machu Picchu with.

My husband and I did the Inca Trail in November 2016 with Llama Path - classic 4D/3N itinerary. It was truly fantastic and we had such a wonderful time. The company was great - the guides were enthusiastic and super informative and the porters were phenomenal. The chef was amazing - some of the best camping food I've ever had... More

Completed the 3N/4D Inca Trail Trek. I hurt my foot pretty badly right before coming. I made the decision to do the hike anyways, but that meant that I was very slow on days 1 & 2 especially. Nealton (sp? sorry Trail husband! :D ) was literally my hero. He hiked with me the entire time and pushed me to... More

Llama Path provide a great service for the Salkantay trek. The equipment (tents and bedding) were clean and functional but it was the staff that really made the experience. We had two guides (Jose and Gabrielle) who were absolutely excellent. They had great knowledge that they were prepared to share that really made a difference. In particular their knowledge of... First off, our porters and chef were exceptional! Santos our chef created beautiful and delicious food even when camped at the top of a mountain. Our porters, Hernan, Fernando, Valerio, Renee, and Eduardo were always so much fun to be around and despite a heavy language barrier, we had some great laughs. They were always in such good spirits and... More

Wonderful experience! Funny, knowledgeable guides who always made sure everyone in the group was happy and safe. Incredible food. The porters were clearly treated more fairly than the other trail companies. The 4d/3n was grueling but still seemed to be the best pace for this trip. Had beautiful weather, even in November.

We had a very knowledgeable and personable guide (more a companion than a guide) and an amazing chef! It was really incredible what he could cook in a tent over a camp stove! He even made a cake!!! The porters were absolute legends, cheering us on even though they were doing it 20x harder with the packs on their backs.... More

If you are considering the Inca Trail I highly recommend booking with Llama Path. The food was sensational and our guide John made the whole experience fantastic. There are many competing companies out there, but Llama Path did a great job of mixing professionalism and fun throughout the four day tour.

I had wanted to walk the Inca Trail for many years, and finally decided that my 60th birthday was the time to do it. After much research I chose Llama Path, and I was not disappointed. This companys organization went without a hitch, from initial email correspondence all the way through to bringing us back safely to our hotel after... More
