Amazon Star River Cruise March 25 – April 1, 2017 We three sisters visited the upper Amazon River during the last week in March. We joined the 7 night / 8 day river cruise in Iquitos, Peru, aboard International Expeditions' Amazon Star. The Amazon Star is a modern, first-class vessel. We had 27 passengers, a crew of 15, an expedition... More

This trip was the biggest waste of money. There were four of us and so we had two cabins from memory it was about $14K US. We expected a lot. First of all the program that we had was not followed at all. We were advised when aboard the program changed several months ago. The food was really poor and... More

We arrived at the Zafiro boat on a beautiful sunny afternoon, and were welcomed aboard by the crew forming a band singing songs and making lively music with local instruments. We were greeted with cocktails. We checked into our Zafiro suite, and our two children checked into their balcony suite adjacent to our room. Zafiro is the newest luxury boat... More

We have just completed a 7 day tour of Amazon on M/S Aria (high water season). One of the greatest vacations we have ever taken. The ship is very comfortable, cabins are great. The service was spectacular. The food amazing. The guides very knowledgeable and with the background which allows them to talk about the region as theirs. Very active schedule... More

My wife and I boarded the Delfin III, also known as the Amazon Discovery, on December 28, 2016 and disembarked January 3, 2017. I will simply describe the entire experience as FANTASTIC as the crew, the accommodations, the food, the drink and the security were first rate and second to none! Let me begin by describing the boat. We were... More

The Amazon experience on the Cattleya was excellent and recommended. We booked it through Rainforest Cruises and it was a pleasure to deal with Remi who was so responsive from beginning to end. The vessel itself is very finely designed and built, the right size for an intimate and personalized trip up the various rivers in the upper Amazon. With... More

I am very glad to have picked the Cattleya for my Peruvian Amazon river experience. I appreciated its intimacy, service, and comfort. The customer service provided by the booking company, Rainforest Cruises was top-notch. Remi, the agent we worked with, made the entire booking process easy and seamless. Our cabin was very nice with a big river-view window, comfortable bed,... More

AFter our cruise when inquiring about the boats safety issues we learned that a married couple died last year aboard this boat while on a cruise in Peru. The staff of the... More

A very full and interesting week on the Amatista which was one of the old wooden boats, extremely comfortable and the food was excellent. Visits to villages, jungle, tributaries full of flocks of birds and other animals.
