I was so blown away being in Guayasamin's studio and in his home! That was awesome! There were lots of pieces that are really impressive and it's a great collection overall. Tours are available in English and Spanish and seem to start pretty often. What...More

I was recommended to visit this place by a fellow traveller, and was not disappointed. Although the location is a little out of town which required a taxi ride to and fro, but do not let that deter you. The entrance ticket includes the museum...More

I liked our visit but our guide wasn't very good. I couldn't hear what he was saying half of the time and he didn't gather the group before starting to talk about the next thing so usually you always missed the beginning. When the tour...More

Beautiful, and vivid impressionist art. Take small bills. Taxis out front to return you to your lodgings

We visited the house and the museum and got complimentary tours at both. I didn't know anything about Guayasamin prior to the visit, so I appreciated the tour to understand what I was looking at. A great day trip.

Ecuadorian artist with vision and brilliance to create as he does a museum for his wondrous art and the collection he has amassed from all over world. Breath taking for all the senses.

it's pretty out of the way up some steep hills. get a taxi, it's a cheap fare and a difficult walk, especially if it's hot.
