Plaza O'Higgins Antique Market
Jul 2018 • Family
I'm not going to talk about the parliament building, but of the plaza next to it where the best antique market takes place. My dad and I are fans of this place, because of all the beauty of the items. Altough the prices are really high in some cases, its always a nice place to walk around. This place is really easy to find because is next to the parliament building in Pedro Montt avenue.

Handy location across from the bus station
Dec 2015 • Couples
My partner and I visited Valparaiso as a day trip from Santiago. We got return tickets on Turbus from the terminal almada for 7000C/P to Valparaiso. From there we did a independent walking tour - getting a taxi to 21 Plaza de mayo and tracing back towards the bus station stopping at a series of viewpoints over the city that we had pre-highlighted in our small map in lonely planet.

The most handy thing about the Parliament building is that it is located directly across from the bus station in Valparaiso. Because it is so large and with such distinctive architecture it was easy to spot to give you an idea of how far you were from the bus station and what direction you had to travel. We didn't go inside for a tour, but rather checked it out from across the street. It has an interesting architecture although I can understand why it isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Interesting stories, but that's about it
Huge building, mostly made of concrete. Some interesting stories about it, but that's all.

A beautiful building in an intersting city
Oct 2011 • Friends
Valparaiso is an ugly little town, but interesting.
View over the Pacific ocean is beautiful. But that.
Seems to have lived around poor people.
In Chile, Parliament isn't located in Santiago but in Valparaiso.
