Torre Turri

An unmistakeable landmark from 1913, this is best viewed from Cerro Concepcion, which offers a panoramic view of the port.

This is going to be part of your tour, without having to make any special detours, as you can see it from many of the 45 hills in Valparaiso. It is part of the view over the harbour from funiculars et.c It is much better than a lot of the rubbish they have to have in the harbour- that is... More

We really were wondering with that clock was until we got closer. The building attached to it is somewhat nice, but the clock very average.

The view from the hill is nice and there are some local shops cor souveniers. It would be walkable from the port but i really recommend using a taxi or tour servicd to see the sites as the hills are steep and the streets narrow and confusing.

This clock tower stands in the middle of the old town. It is said to be designed to be a Big Ben look alike. The exception is that it sits amongst the buildings in the old town at a Y-junction much like that of Times Square instead.

The tower is on the main street pretty close to Plaza Sotomayor. As it is situated in middle of buildings need to keep looking up to locate it.

Nice old tower, but not a place to visit especially. When you look up when you wanna go up with the ascensor (that's fun btw!), you'll see an old tower with a kind of egg on top. Nothing special actually (maybe i missed the history?)

Before we came to this financial district, we walked by Avenida Brazil , Plaza Victoria, Plaza Sotomayor, and Paso 21 de Mayo. Everyone was so relaxed and laid back. But when we came to the Turri clock Tower area. I noticed everybody’s pace is faster. We even had to walk faster to keep up. In Valparaíso’s heyday the oldest Spanish... More

What?? Is this it? Surprised this even got type in the guide book. Don't bother walking here unless you happen to be already walking by.
