Very cheap entry fee around $2.00 AUD. It is the oldest church in the city, and the museum has some really old Colonial religious art. There is a Moaï from Easter Island in a park in front of the church that you can actually touch...More

The museum is an opportunity to travel back in time a few hundred years. Yes, it' heavily religious art, but that's a lot of what they had back then. Very nicely displayed in the courtyard and building (convent?). Well worth the price of admission.

In the beautiful cloister next to San Francisco Church is magnificent collection of colonial era art. The paintings are mainly from the Cuzco school - the main gallery has a series of 30+ large paintings of the life of St. Francis. One particularly stunning painting...More

After paying our $2 admission, we entered the courtyard to be tangled in sheets of plastic covering all of the flooring of the courtyard walk ways. There was scaffolding all over the place, so we had to walk around it. We could not find any...More
