Interesting but not extensive displays. It's hidden behind and under the Presidential palace. The architecture is modern with a lot of cement. By accident I Discovered museums and public galleries are free on Sunday morning so take the opportunity for at least a quick look at this and others.

It is located under the Moneda Palace itself, and it helds different kinds of exhibits. This time it was about the Fordibben City in China, and it was amazing. To make things even better, if you arrive before 12 pm the entrance is free!

We visited the exhibition on the "Hidden City" from China which was outstanding. It is free before 12 noon every day it is open.

If you only have one day in Santiago, and can't get out of the city to the rest of Chile, here's a worthwhile spot to absorb a bit of the culture of the country. It's all underground, in some of the best real estate in the city. Enter at the west side of the plaza in front of La Moneda,... More

Modern and nice, the place is located underground, almost underneath La Moneda, and it is part museum, part high quality local handicrafts shop. Very much worth a visit both to get a taste of the local art and for the chance to acquire some high quality Chilean handicrafts.

In this very modern and interesting semi underground court you will be surrounded by small stores offering handmade articles as well as one which offers objects made digitally. Once can spend several hours in this place admiring the quality of the artists' works while trying to decide what to purchase. Children will love watching the 3D digitizing machine making all... There is a great store for genuine Handicrafts from Chile- textiles and jewelry, along with wonderful exhibits.

Whilst the exhibition space was closed there is nowever some great souvenir shops. Most of the good gere are made by Chilean artisans. They are suprisingly affordable.

Lovely, small museum under the Palacio. The was only one main exhibit which was a bit disappointing as it was on Egypt and we were hoping to find more on Chilean history. They have wifi and this location is a pokestop :)
