We had an evening free and purchased tickets for a Mozart concert the afternoon before the concert. The music was great! But the theater was the like an extra gift. It has either been well maintained or recently renovated. It is a joy to behold.

Wife loves this kind of touring, we have been in the old theater in/outside of Stockholm, we went in several places in Spain, on this trip and this was good. Really not a bad seat in the house, it just depended on where you like , how much you want to spend, we took middle level main floor, it was... More

My husband and I bought obstructed view tickets to see La Traviata from the 4th level. We had just flown into Santiago on a redeye and were quite tired but the tickets were cheap and we wanted to see the theater anyway, so we went for it. We were on a ski vacation so we didn't have very dressy clothes... More

Municipal Theater Tours Santiago I had a most wonderful tour of the Theater by Thomas. He speaks Spanish, Portugese and English. I think the tour guides are vastly underutilized because the information on the public tours is hard to find. So here it is (I have also attached a picture of the July 2016 poster which was OUTSIDE the ticket... More

We have been here as a couple, and with our children. We have been at classical concerts, jazz concerts, piano recitals and various other events. Each one has been well worth it! Love the acoustics!

We attended a concert of the Santiago Philharmonic Orchestra here. Although had the cheapest (back row, 4th balcony) tickets, we clearly and easily heard every note and saw every musician. Fantastic acoustics in a magnificent building. Definitely recommend stopping by the box office and buying tickets for any performance here..

Try to attend something here ... its a classy place right in the centre of things. The staff are so-so in the English dept, but they're eager to help and very polite. We saw Verdi"s Requiem by the Santiago Philharmonic it was the most dynamic energetic version Ive heard. Theres something on year around here.

Just finished with a English only tour of the theater with Anna. Her English is perfect and we learned quit a bit about the theater and its history. Lovely theater, small compared to Paris or Buenos Aires, but very well maintained. Tour cost about $35 for the two of us. It would have been much less expensive per person for... More

Santiago philharmonic and Ballet surprised me in a very good way. The Swan Lake is my favorite ballet and at this time I had the opportunity to experienced it with the locals and it was amazing. The theatre is extremely beautiful and go over there to watch a show will become a whole experience you will never forget. Totally recommended
